Bumble Bee MONARCH draws its power from 4 x 18650 3.7V  Lithium-Ion batteries. MONARCH is designed to improve the bodies health using PEMF. But in order to get the best performance out of the MONARCH it needs a voltage between 12 to 14 volts to operate. If the battery voltage indicator on the front of the MONARCH drops below 12 volts then you need to recharge your batteries. So purchasing a good quality 18650 Li-Ion battery charger and 4 identical batteries is very important. DONT BUY cheap plain rechargers or batteries.

THE BATTERIES:

The MONARCH requires four 18650 3.7V batteries to power its circuitry and the PEMF coils. The batteries should be rated above 2000 mAh to get a few sessions done before needing a recharge. The average daily session runs for approximately 20 minutes. 4 fully charged 2000 mAh rated batteries will give you approximately 4 session. Higher mAh rated batteries will give many more sessions before needing recharging. However please note that all four batteries must be of the same mAh rating. Example in the photo above they are all 2000 mAh rated batteries.  Batteries with an mAh around 2200 mAh to 2600 mAh work best. Avoid batteries rated above 3000 mAh. Although batteries have been improving and are becoming more capable of storing a larger amount of mAh, not all of them over 3000 mAh are stable. So if you want to buy batteries with durable power, it’s best to purchase batteries with mAh ranging between 2000 to 2600. If think you need more than the amount mentioned, make sure it doesn’t go beyond 3000 mAh.

THE BATTERY CHARGER:

Invest in a smart Li-Ion Battery Charger with an LCD display that can display the actual voltage of the batteries being charged and one with short circuit protection. Do not use cheap chargers that do not let you know how much charge is in your batteries. They may over charge or under charge your batteries. You really have no way of knowing with those. Don’t risk it. Get a good quality charging unit.

Good smart chargers will limit the charge to 4.2 volts and discharge to 3 volts. You can purchase a 4 Bay Smart charger at most Electrical goods stores or online from reputable sellers. The photo below is an example of a Smart Battery charger with LCD display that can charge 4 x 18650 batteries evenly.

WHAT ARE THE BEST FREQUENCIES FOR PEMF? 

Frequency is measured in Hertz. Hertz (Hz) is the derived unit of frequency in the International System of Units (SI) and is defined as one cycle per second. 1 Hz is one cycle every second, 10 Hz is ten cycles every second, and so on.

A well known 4 Year NASA study by Thomas J. Goodwin, Ph.D., of the Lynden B Johnson Space Center showed conclusively that lower frequencies were ideal to stimulate cell growth, repair and healing. The NASA study observed that noticeable deteriorations can be seen in astronauts in space, even for relatively short periods of time. This included, but was not limited to, bone deterioration, tissue deterioration and even depression. These observations prompted research that determined that the essential causative factor was that those people were outside the normal 7.83 Hz Schumann EMF signals of the earth, and prompted additional research to determine what could be done to resolve the problem. That research led to the development of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) technology and devices that, in effect, technologically replace the natural PEMF frequencies of the Earth with similar signals generated with technology.

Below is a NASA animation of how the Earth’s Schumann frequency is produced. At any given moment about 2,000 thunderstorms roll over Earth, producing some 50 flashes of lightning every second. Each lightning burst creates electromagnetic waves that begin to circle around Earth captured between Earth’s surface and a boundary about 60 miles up. Some of the waves – if they have just the right wavelength – combine, increasing in strength, to create a repeating atmospheric heartbeat known as Schumann resonance.

The NASA study discovered that the benefits of low frequency, low intensity, rapidly varying square wave PEMF includes better healing and regeneration of damaged or diseased tissue, greater cell longevity, accelerated cell growth, improved cellular voltage (mainly observed in nerve cells),upregulation of genes related to collagen production, cell restoration, and cell growth.

It has been found that there is a  connection in our brains, bodies and cells that resonate and operate at the same frequency window as the earth’s Schumann and Geomagnetic frequencies, which has been determined to be between 0-30 Hertz.  This is what our device the Monarch operates within.

WHAT PEMF INTENSITY (MAGNETIC FLUX) LEVEL IS SAFE?

Research done by Adey and Bawin, and Sisken and Walker; along with a NASA study and others has shown that low intensity in the earth range of 33-66 μT (Microtesla) is an optimum range. Our Monarch device operates on low intensity. There are many PEMF devices on the market that currently have intensities that are extremely high. These companies will tell you that you need a stronger intensity to get results. The key to effective PEFM is frequency resonance, not intensity. Devices that use low intensities close to what the planet earth provides are best for human wellbeing. This is a case of More is Not Better, but Less.

PEMF devices should be strong enough to handle problem areas but safe enough to be in compliance with U.S and DIN safety standards. The DIN 0848 safety standard says the intensity should never exceed 400μT or 4 Gauss. This is the standard on measurement and calculation procedures for human exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields. The MONARCH is limited to 260 μT or 2.6 Gauss (2600 mG). Well within the safety standards of electromagnetic fields.
